In an article published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology with Children and Adolescents, intervention programs are reviewed to improve school coexistence.
🎯 Objective: Analyze the efficiency of intervention programs in improving school coexistence through a systematic review.
🔍 Methodology:
- PRISMA guide for systematic reviews.
- Search in SCOPUS, WEB OF SCIENCE, SCIELO, REDALYC and PUBMED in December 2022.
- 27 publications were selected out of 365 found, 88.90% being quasi-experimental studies.
- The School Violence Questionnaire (CUVE) was used as the main instrument.
📊 Results:
- Aspects analyzed: behavioral, bullying, behavioral problems and social skills.
- Most used programs: emotional intelligence, sports education, coexistence, multiple focus and psychoeducation.
- Conclusion: Greater evidence of efficiency in school coexistence was found in emotional intelligence and sports education programs. However, the need for more research is highlighted to obtain more solid conclusions.
In this way, the study opens the door to new perspectives on how to improve school coexistence.
