Javela, J. J and collaborators analyzed in Colombian adolescents the psychometric properties of the Aggression Questionnaire (AQ) by Buss and Perry, a tool widely used to measure aggressive behavior.
The sample included 779 adolescents from Barranquilla and Pereira, Colombia. The results revealed that the second-order one-factor model showed good fit, and the reliability indices were acceptable. This suggests that the AQ is applicable to Colombian adolescents, although certain limitations are noted in its use for the non-aggression subscale.
This study provides valuable insight into the applicability of the AQ in Colombian adolescents and highlights the importance of considering its dimensions and limitations.
