Graduates in psychology interested in pursuing their doctoral thesis in the field of child and adolescent mental health, under the guidance of one of the researchers from the center, can apply for admission to the Applied Research Doctorate Program in Sport and Health. The program is sponsored by members of the Aitana Research Group and the Child Research Center. It follows criteria established in Royal Decree 99/2011 and the Doctoral Studies Regulations of the UMH.
The doctoral program provides comprehensive and specific training in documentation, research, and innovation techniques. It also offers supervision and guidance for specific research and innovation activities undertaken by the doctoral candidate.

Master's Degree in Psychological Therapy with Children and Adolescents
Since 2010, the research team at Aitana Research and the Child Research Center has been offering the Master’s Degree in Psychological Therapy with Children and Adolescents. Through this program, fourteen cohorts of child and adolescent therapists have been trained. In this official Master’s program, students learn the assessment and psychopathology of major child and adolescent disorders, apply therapeutic skills for intervention, receive resources and strategies, and acquire practical skills for intervention in different clinical cases. The Master’s program is accredited by the National Agency for Quality Assessment (ANECA) and delivered by a team of over 30 academic and clinical instructors from more than 15 centers, with the collaboration of international educators. It is designed for a very small group of students and is recognized for its methodology and the practical nature of its scientific-professional interest by the Spanish Society of Psychology.
