Anger is a normal emotion that is present in all people. However, outbursts of anger and aggression are one of the main reasons why families seek professional help and also one of the sources of stress and frustration in teachers. Experiencing anger is not a clinical problem, but some ways in which anger is expressed are, as well as the adverse consequences in any area of the person’s life as a result of poor regulation of this emotion. Therefore, treatments are required that aim not to prevent the child from feeling anger, but rather to serve as a “remote control” to help the child regulate this emotion to place it within appropriate limits.
The course Anger and aggression control strategies in children: A step-by-step intervention model (2nd Edition) taught by Professor Jonatan Molina will take place from March 1 to 31 and will teach students different cognitive-behavioral strategies for anger control. anger and will instruct you in its application, whether in clinical and educational settings or in the family environment.
